CBS News spokeswoman and VP of Communications Sandy Genelius is leaving the network after 20 years, Broadcasting & Cable reports. She will now serve in the same capacity at Sony, where she will be reunited with Ann Morfogen, senior VP of communications and public affairs at the entertainment giant, who left CBS in 1994. In an internal memo, CBS President of News and Sports Sean McManus said, “It would be impossible to overstate Sandy’s dedication, commitment and overall contribution to CBS News. She has been a tireless advocate and key member of our senior management for over 14 years, and her counsel, advice and perspective will be sorely missed by all of us.”
