Republican presidential candidate John McCain, who was blasted by David Letterman for backing out of a previous appearance, plans to appear as a guest on the “Late Show” Thursday, Reuters reports. McCain’s appearance will happen the day after his third and final presidential debate with Democratic nominee Barack Obama, the wire service says.
