NBC’s Silverman Hasn’t Struck Gold

NBC entertainment chief Ben Silverman hasn’t met expectations of a network turnaround 16 months into his tenure, as NBC’s ratings are down 14% from a year ago, Forbes says. While Mr. Silverman has been adept at cutting costs for the General Electric unit, his new shows, including “Knight Rider” and “Kath & Kim,” have had poor ratings and have been panned by critics, the magazine says.
