SAG Election Winners Get No Seats

Recently elected Screen Actors Guild national board members from the Unite for Strength faction were shut out of seats on the union’s national executive committee during a meeting Monday, the Los Angeles Times reports. Eleven Hollywood national board seats went to candidates under the UFS banner during the unions recently election, but the established Membership First faction filled up the 13 national executive committee seats given to the union’s Hollywood division without a single dissident getting one, the newspaper says.
