Nikki Blonsky, star of last year’s feature film “Hairspray,” will guest star on ABC’s “Ugly Betty,” TV Guide reports. Blonsky’s character will be an assistant at Mode magazine’s rival, Elle, who befriends America Ferrera’s Betty on the episode. The role, however, isn’t as friendly as it seems, with TV Guide saying the character has ulterior motives in hooking up with the aesthetically challenged protagonist. The episode, scheduled to air by year’s end, will mark Blonsky’s first prime-time television appearance.
