Actor Connor Paolo told “Gossip Girl” producers thanks, but no thanks, when they offeredto mak him a series regular on the CW show, Entertainment Weekly reports. Paolo, who plays star Blake Lively’s little brother Eric on the series, apparently wouldn’t appear in all episodes produced so he turned it down. “Gossip Girl” declined to comment, as did Paolo’s agent, but an agent theorized that the actor “probably didn’t want to commit to being ninth fiddle on a show,” Entertainment Weekly says.
