Jesse Alexander and Jeph Loeb, two of the original writers/executive producers on “Heroes,” have been axed in a shakeup of the staff on the struggling NBC show, Daily Variety says. The network is frustrated by the show’s creative direction and overruns on the program’s hefty $4 million per episode budget, the newspaper says.
