Nexstar’s Third-Quarter Revenue Up

Nov 10, 2008  •  Post A Comment

Nexstar Broadcasting Group’s revenue for the third quarter grew 9% to a total of $70.3 million, compared with $64.5 million during the same time a year ago, TVNewsday reports. Broadcast cash flow was at $27.3 million, up from 2007’s third-quarter total of $22.8 million. “Revenue growth was driven by strong year-over-year increases in political, retransmission consent and eMedia revenues, which offset the softness of traditional television advertising in our markets,” said Perry A. Sook, Nexstar chairman, president and CEO.
