Showrunner Kring Tries to Save ‘Heroes’

“Heroes” showrunner Tim Kring will try to pull the NBC drama out of its ratings slump by being more involved in simplifying the show’s story lines, Daily Variety reports. Kring, who let executive producers Jesse Alexander and Jeph Loeb go over the weekend, has been diverted from some of the writing duties by the show’s large cast and post-production requirements, the newspaper says.

  1. I stopped watching “Heroes” after the last episode. The first season was so good but I find myself disinterested in the characters now. Too many of them and more than one of the same character like Peter Petrelli. I usually don’t give up on a show but finding that I don’t want to put any effort into watching this mess anymore. Was very promising but a big letdown now.
