Third-Quarter Revenue Down for Tribune

Nov 10, 2008  •  Post A Comment

Tribune Co. posted its third-quarter revenues showing an 8% drop from the same time last year, TVNewsday reports. Cash operating expenses were up 5%, or $10 million, from last year, while its television operating cash flow was down 34%, from $98 million in 2007 to $64 million in 2008. The company attributed its decrease in television revenue to lower cable copyright royalties and soft advertising demand.
