Ellis, Sullivan Tapped to Manage Pappas Stations

Bert Ellis and Dan Sullivan have been chosen to manage New World TV LLC, the holding company in charge of Pappas Telecasting properties, TVNewsday reports. New World parent company Fortress Credit Corp. was the only one to bid on the 10 full-power stations after Pappas declared Chapter 11 bankruptcy, the site says. If the deal is approved and local marketing agreements go through, Fortress may be running the companies by the end of the year, though licensing transfers may take anywhere from three to six months to clear through the FCC, TVNewsday says.
