Fox Sports is planning to show its coverage of college football’s Bowl Championship Series in 3-D to viewers in theaters, USA Today reports. Fox Sports Chairman David Hill tells the paper he would also like to show NASCAR races in 3-D, which he terms the next step in TV technology after high definition. The NFL will be showing Thursday’s game between the Chargers and the Raiders in 3-D in cinemas in New York, Los Angeles and Boston.

  1. Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass’ favor.
