MyNetworkTV Beating The CW

Dec 22, 2008  •  Post A Comment

In what is seen as a shocking upset, MyNetworkTV has averaged more prime-time viewers than The CW for three weeks in a row, the Associated Press says. Wrestling is MyNet’s biggest ratings generator, but its other nonfiction programming also is drawing viewers. “We want to provide programming that’s entertaining, that’s fun to watch and easy to join in-progress,” MyNet President Greg Meidel tells the wire service.

  1. This is CW’s own fault, WWW Wrestling has alway performed 52 weeks a year, no mater if t is or isn’t your demo…they should of ran w/ it another season or so. They knew that their schedule was in shambles and could of still farmed out SUN at the begining of the year. If they had their 2 comedies on Wed after Top Modle then the ratings would of been better for them as well…..If you recall UPN always had the worst line up between it and WB but constantly won in the ratings because of Wrestling/urban comedies/Star Trek…..My Net has Wrestling/urban comedies/reality…all it needs is a SciFi night and it will be in good shoes
