Producers Scoff at NBC Filling Prime With Leno

NBC’s decision to replace scripted series with talk show host Jay Leno in its 10 p.m. time slots was criticized by top television producers at the Hollywood Radio & Television Society’s Hitmakers luncheon panel Tuesday, the Hollywood Reporter says. James Duff, creator and executive producer of TNT’s “The Closer,” said he wondered if NBC “is publicly transforming itself into AM radio.”
