Fox Entertainment President Kevin Reilly said the new season of “American Idol” is returning with a new dynamic, thanks in part to the addition of fourth judge Kara DioGuardi and other format changes, the Los Angeles Times reports, citing an interview with Channel Island. With regard to the Friday-night time slot for Joss Whedon’s new show “Dollhouse,” Fox Entertainment Chairman Peter Liguori said the move will “allow the show to grow,” the newspaper says.
