Studio chiefs ran an advertisement in the Los Angeles Times today that included an “open letter” to the Screen Actors Guild calling its negotiating strategy “failed” and saying its demands would undo the work achieved in studio negotiations with other unions this year, DeadlineHollywoodDaily.com reports. The studio heads called their contract offer to SAG “fair” and said a union strike would be “self-defeating,” the Web site says.
