‘Survivor’ Artifacts Shipped Back by Customs

A slew of African artifacts shipped to the U.S. by people associated with CBS’ “Survivor: Gabon” and confiscated earlier this year must be returned to Africa, the Associated Press reports. Customs found some of the items that came from animals were contaminated with diseases, the news service says. All the items have since been fumigated and will be shipped out of the U.S.; there’s no word yet on what will happen to those who imported the objects, the AP says.
