The BBC is planning a new miniseries adaptation of Jane Austen’s “Emma,” the Stage reports. Sandy Welch, who is writing the project, has previously worked on adaptations of “Our Mutual Friend” and “Jane Eyre,” the site says. Casting for the project is yet to be determined, but the BBC plans to film it in early summer, the site says.
