British content creation and delivery system manufacturer Quantel will not be showing at this year’s National Association of Broadcasters show, TVNewsday reports. The decision is attributed to the poor economic climate, and Quantel CEO Ray Cross said the $1 million-plus cost of exhibiting is not justifiable at the moment given customers’ more “prudent” spending, the site says.
