CW Moves Upfront Back to Thursday

The CW will make its annual fall schedule presentation to advertisers on Thursday morning of upfront week this year, Advertising Age reports. Last year, the network had an upfront party on Wednesday night following ABC’s schedule announcement. The network is making the move back to a sit-down presentation because “it’s important to get people’s attention about how everying is going and how the CW has progressed,” CW entertainment chief Dawn Ostroff told the publication.
