During Thursday night’s BCS national championship college football game, Fox’s announcers got mixed-up about what down it was during a key sequence as the Oklahoma Sooners tried to score on the Florida Gators, the New York Times says. The Times says that was one of a handful of miscues in the production of the game, won by the Gators. USA Today went to see the 3-D broadcast of the game in a theater where some viewers thought the game looked better if you turned the plastic glasses upside down.
