Annie Potts, Mather Zickel and Jack Thompson have been tapped to star in the CBS comedy pilot “The Karenskys,” the Hollywood Reporter says. The show, from “Malcolm in the Middle” creator Linwood Boomer, is about a woman, played by Sasha Alexander, who is reunited with her large, eccentric family when she and her husband relocate to her hometown. Potts and Thompson will play her parents while Zickel will take the part of the husband.
