Public Safety Groups Fear DTV Delay

Four public safety organizations want a guarantee that any delay of the Feb. 17 digital television transition won’t postpone their access to spectrum now taken by analog TV stations, Multichannel News reports. The concerned groups are the Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials-International; the International Association of Chiefs of Police; the International Association of Fire Chiefs; and the National Public Safety Telecommunications Council.
