NBC Passes 90% Mark on Super Bowl Ad Sales

Jan 12, 2009  •  Post A Comment

NBC has sold more than 90% of its advertising inventory for the Super Bowl, leaving between eight and 10 of the 67 Super Bowl spots still unsold, Mediaweek reports. The network signed deals with two studios last week, lining up Walt Disney’s Pixar, for its animated movie “Up,” and 20th Century Fox, which is likely to advertise “X-Men Origins: Wolverine.” By some estimates, NBC will air 11 30-second commercials from the movie studios in the Feb. 1 game, up from eight 30-second spots a year ago, Media Daily News says.
