With a Pittsburgh Steelers-Arizona Cardinals Super Bowl emerging from Sunday’s conference championship games, NBC is expected to earn solid, although not stellar, ratings for the Feb. 1 broadcast, the New York Post reports. Rick Gentile, a professor of sports management at Seton Hall University’s Stillman School of Business, said a game pitting the Steelers against the Philadelphia Eagles would probably have drawn more viewers. “The Eagles are from a bigger market and with two Pennsylvania teams there is a good story,” the paper quotes him as saying.
