The CW is again joining forces with “Gossip Girl” publisher Alloy Entertainment, greenlighting a one-hour drama pilot based on the book series “The Vampire Diaries,” TelevisionWeek reports. “Scream” writer Kevin Williamson is on board to write and executive produce “Vampire,” teaming up with Julie Plec of “Kyle XY,” while Warner Bros. Television and Alloy will produce, TVWeek says.
