The Fox drama pilot “Maggie Hill,” about a female surgeon with schizophrenia, has nabbed Stephen Hopkins as its director, while Mark Pellington has will direct the CBS drama pilot “Back” and Todd Holland will be at the helm of Fox’s comedy pilot “Sons of Tucson,” the Hollywood Reporter says. Hopkins, who won an Emmy for “The Life and Death of Peter Sellers,” also directed the pilot of Showtime’s “Californication,” the trade paper says.
