FCC Seeks Holy Help for DTV Awareness in L.A.

The FCC has begun approaching church leaders and other community figures to help spread the word about the digital TV switch, the Los Angeles Times reports. FCC Commissioner Jonathan Adelstein asked members of the Baptist Ministries Conference of Los Angeles to help inform their congregations, the newspaper notes. Los Angeles County currently has the largest number of households that still receive their TV signals over the air, with minority and elderly groups making up a large part of that audience, the Times adds.
