The popularity of the CBS Friday night police drama “Flashpoint” has caused Canadian producers to pitch more shows to the studios, the Hollywood Reporter says. NBC soon will air “The Listener,” a cop show set in Toronto that was co-produced by Canada’s CTV, while Canada’s E1 Television is pitching three series to U.S. broadcasters, the newspaper reports.
