NBC is picking up the comedy pilot “State of Romance” from writers and executive producers Barbara Wallace and Tom Wolfe, the Hollywood Reporter says. The single-camera project, produced by Universal Media Studios, is said to be a modern day “Pride and Prejudice” set in Chicago, the trade paper reports.
