‘Runway’ Tweaks Around Drama

“Project Runway” producers are trying to tweak the ending of the program, which has been tied up in a courtroom real-life drama, as the live finale catwalk takes place on the last day of New York’s fashion week, New York Daily News reports. That means that many in the fashion industry will see the finalists’ designs before viewers have even met any contestants on TV, the newspaper says. The producers plan to pre-shoot intros, and keep designers whose collections are shown, plus other cast members, around as decoys, the newspaper reports.
