Actor Lance Reddick is on a hot streak with key roles in ABC’s “Lost” and Fox’s “Fringe,” the Los Angeles Times reports. A star on HBO’s little seen but much acclaimed “The Wire,” Reddick’s fearsome visage is winning him work. “One of the things we really gravitative toward was that Lance is very scary-looking,” “Lost” executive producer Damon Lindelof tells the paper.

  1. Does Lance Reddick’s mellifluous voice and penetrating gaze scare you? It rivets me. This Black man has such a commanding screen presence, you SHOULD be very afraid. BTW, he is also a excellent jazz singer, now take that!!

  2. I don’t find his scary either. I find his portrayals intriguing and intense. I never saw “the Wire”. On both “Lost” & “Fringe” you get the feeling his character knows a whole lot more than he’s telling. Any time he is on the screen he completely captivates your attention and you want more. I hope more meaty roles come his was as he deserves to be working for a very long time.
