The Screen Actors Guild will meet with the Alliance of Motion Picture & Television Producers on Tuesday and Wednesday, almost one year after the studios said they were ready to negotiate with the actors’ union and a week after the firing of SAG’s chief negotiator, Doug Allen, Daily Variety reports. Meanwhile, SAG faction Membership First, still angry at Allen’s ouster, plans to hold a rally Monday before SAG’s Hollywood Division’s board meeting that evening, the trade paper says.
