With California now offering a competitive package of tax breaks for TV programs shot in the state, producers face a new set of calculations about where to make their shows, the Hollywood Reporter says. However, the state set the cap on tax incentives at $100 million, which could be reached by early in a fiscal year, sending producers scrambling to get requests in early, the trade paper says.
