Douglas Wood, the lead negotiator for the ad industry, on Tuesday revealed the group’s proposal in commercial contract talks with SAG and AFTRA, Daily Variety reports. The outline called for compensation system to be based on gross rating points, rather than the typical pay-per-play method, the trade paper says. Their talks will resume Monday on the contract that expires March 31, the publication says.
