According to the ratings, Jimmy Fallon did not embarrass himself in his first outing as host of “Late Night,” the Washington Post reports. Fallon’s debut beat Conan O’Brien’s season-to-date average (including reruns) by 35% the paper says. In a review, the Post says Fallon’s show offered some laughs but was like “a newborn already suffering an identity crisis.”
