General Motors has ended its financial support of documentary filmmaker Ken Burns, Daily Variety reports. The amount of funding the automaker gave Burns over their 22-year relationship remains unknown, but GM cited its financial troubles for the decision, Variety adds. Burns’ finals project with the company’s backing, “The National Parks: America’s Best Idea,” will air in the fall on PBS.
