Granite Broadcasting Corp. and Barrington Broadcasting Group have teamed up to jointly run stations in the Syracuse, N.Y., and Peoria, Ill., markets, TVNewsday reports. The two companies have agreed on joint sales and shared services, the site says. As part of the deal, Granite’s WTVH station in Syracuse will be operated from Barrington’s WSTM, while Barrington’s WHOI station in Peoria will be run from Granite’s WEEK studio, TVNewsday explains.
