The National Association of Broadcasters conference next month will include new platforms, with video games and content players included with traditional exhibitors, Daily Variety says. Electronic Arts will be the first big video-game company to show at NAB, while MGM will be touting THIS TV, a service offering 4,000 movie episodes and 10,000 TV episodes, the publication says. Separately, writer Malcolm Gladwell, who will speak at the conference, tells Variety that television’s “future is brighter than before. It just needs to adapt to different technological platforms. And all of us storytellers will be fine as long as we continue to tell good stories.”
