‘Nightline’ Extends Late-Night Olive Branch

For the first time ever, “Nightline” ended its broadcast by urging viewers to tune in to Jimmy Kimmel on Monday night, the New York Observer reports. The gesture is seen as ABC’s news division extending an olive brand to its entertainment division, which covets “Nightline’s” time slot, the paper says.
