The National Telecommunications and Information Administration said it has done away with its DTV converter box coupon waiting list and now only has applicants in a queue waiting to receive their vouchers, Broadcasting & Cable reports. After the NTIA received more funds from OMB, the trade says, it is processing some 400,000 applications per weekday, with approximately two to three weeks before the estimated 3.4 million current applicants in the queue get processed, B&C says.
