Washington is suddenly the setting of a large number of successful television series, says the Washington Post, which notes the capital had previously been home mostly to flops. “Bones,” “24,” and “Lie To Me” are among the shows set in Washington, and more are in development. “Who knows who long it will last, but right now, D.C. is the place where the future gets written,” “Lie to Me” and “24” executive producer David Nevins, a Bethesda native, tells the paper.
