High winds caused WSPA’s TV transmission tower to collapse, the Associated Press reports. The Spartanburg, S.C., CBS affiliate streamed its morning news show online for some of the viewers affected by the collapse, the news service says. The station’s news director, Alex Bongiorno, said the tower went down Sunday afternoon and that no injuries were reported, according to the AP.
