ABC’s McPherson Faces Upfront Heat

As many of ABC’s signature shows continue to see ratings drops, the pressure is on ABC Entertainment Group President Steve McPherson to deliver the next big hit going into this year’s upfronts, the New York Post reports. ABC has lost more viewers than any of the other major networks over the last three years, the magazine says. An unnamed Hollywood agent with ties to ABC clients said, “This is a make-or-break development season for McPherson,” according to the Post.
