CBS announced its renewal of “The Amazing Race” for a 15th cycle by using Twitter, the Hollywood Reporter says. The show’s host Phil Keoghan posted a tweet on Thursday that said, “Great news. Just got the call from the network. CBS has ordered another season of ‘The Amazing Race’,” while CBS sent its own tweet saying, “This just in: CBS has ordered another season of the Emmy-winning ‘Amazing Race.’ Official announcement coming,” the trade paper says.
