Singer Susan Boyle, who gained attention with a performance on the U.K.’s “Britain’s Got Talent,” made Kathie Lee Gifford cry on a segment during “Today,” with Gifford wiping her eyes with a sock meant for a later segment, the New York Daily News reports. Boyle has also received an invitation to appear on Oprah Winfrey’s show, and her performance on the British show has been viewed more than 12 million times on YouTube, the newspaper says.
