Copps Pushes Broadcast Diversity

Acting FCC Chairman Michael Copps is looking for more accurate data about minority ownership of broadcast stations as a first step toward building more diversity in media, Dow Jones says. Copps announced Wednesday that he will appoint new members to a diversity advisory committee that will advise the FCC on how to expand media diversity, the news service says.
