Cablevision’s Dolans Take Pay Cut

Cablevision Systems’ Charles and James Dolan took pay cuts last year, reducing their take-home pay by $2 million and $10 million, respectively, Multichannel News reports. Chairman Charles Dolan took home about $13.4 million in salary, bonus and other compensation in 2008, down from the $15.5 million he received in 2007, the trade paper says. Meanwhile, his son, CEO James Dolan, saw his pay reduced to $13.9 million from $23.9 million, the publication says. The main reason for the reduction was a $10-per-share dividend paid in 2007, Multichannel reports.
