FremantleMedia North America has promoted Maureen FitzPatrick, who previously worked for licensing arm FremantleMedia Enterprises, to senior VP of comedy development, Daily Variety reports. In her new role, FitzPatrick, who created the online comedy channel Atomic Wedgie where the Web show “Secret Girlfriend” was developed, will be in charge of comedy development and for selling and adapting British comedies, the trade paper says.
