FremantleMedia North America has hired former Fox executive Donna Redier Linsk as its first chief operating officer, Daily Variety reports. Redier Linsk was senior VP of business affairs and alternative production for five years at Fox, overseeing business issues for shows including “American Idol,” which is produced by FremantleMedia North America, the trade paper says. In her new role, she’ll also handle “Idol” responsibilities, the publication says.
